It's been 2 years & Sherwin Williams free in-home color consultation!
Holy cow! It's been 2 years (as of 4/1) since we moved into our Ryan Home. I can't believe how time flies! Our neighborhood is continuing to be built out. We're still very happy with our home and that we made the decision to move here. We're also happy with went with Ryan Homes as our builder. It has been a very positive experience.
If you're thinking about getting a patio or a deck - check out my posts about our patio. And if you live in Ohio, send me a message and I can give you the name and phone number of the person who did ours. We still get so many compliments on it and it's SO NICE knowing we don't have to do any maintenance on it (compared to wood decks!).
And don't forget to use eBates for all of your online purchases - this INCLUDES all those great FREE ship-to-store purchases @ places like Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, etc. You can still get great percentages in cash back to use on anything you want! The cash is deposited into your PayPal account or mailed to you as a check!
One last note - did you know that Sherwin Williams will send a color consultant to your home for free* to help you select great paint colors and/or wallpaper coverings? Call your local Sherwin Williams for your stores specifics - *my store requires a $75 gift card purchase. It's a no-brainer considering I'll buy my paint there when they have their GREAT 40% off sales (usually around Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc). Currently their sale is 30% off until April 1st. I jumped on that deal due to the fact I need to hire someone to paint up the stairways leading to our 3rd level and basement. I LOVE to paint but just can't reach those areas and when I tried with one of those paint brush extenders the results were less than perfect! The color consultant who came to our house was awesome and I am in LOVE with the colors she helped us pick! Oh, and don't forget that Home Depot can color match just about any color paint you find anywhere.....

Little Giant ladder systems
I am obsessing about owning a Little Giant ladder system!! I know you've seen their infomercials - and now that we all have these wonderful new houses - can you just IMAGINE how many times you would use this!!?? I am the painter for our house and can not possibly paint up our main stairway or down our basement stairway using a conventional ladder. I have contacted a contractor about painting these 2 areas and the cost is almost $600!! If you've read my blog long enough, you know that I am EXTREMELY thrifty with my money. I can't imagine spending that amount of money just to paint! Especially when I know how to do the job, but just don't have the right tools! I happened to stumble upon a giveaway for this ladder system that I am dreaming of...it's located at Mommy Living The Life of Riley!.
